The Sanibel School

Many people wonder if Sanibel Island has a school or it or if children have to be bused across the bridge into town. The quick answer is yes to both. Sanibel does have a school for students but only in grades kindergarten through 8th. Once in high school, they will need to be bused across the bridge. Sanibel School is a very community driven and involved school. The school and city actually share the facilities at the location and the PTA is very involved even paying for the school to offer a Spanish program.
